The majority of Fiona's experience is in the senior leadership of Sales teams, Channel Marketing teams, and Sales Operations teams. She has worked extensively in the Telco environment in New Zealand with Vodafone and Telecom including direct involvement in their Retail operations as well as those of their major distribution partners (First Mobile and Digital Mobile). The main focus has been in Consumer, Retail and SME though there has also been experience with larger B2B markets.
Having held General Manager roles over several positions, her work has included the operational aspects of Sales, Marketing and Product and that has required development of strategy and well planned execution. Fiona has also held responsibility for Sales growth and Channel development. During her time at Vodafone she had responsibility for the establishment of the Device management function and ran the team of product managers for a period of 2 years.
Her positions required high levels of accountability and commercial acumen and included development of targeting and reporting metrics. She provided strong leadership to the teams she worked with during times of major change and growth.
Her background includes Consumer and Business customer environments as well as responsibility for Dealer (as above) and Mass Market Channel partners. Within this is experience in the development of Channel Strategy and Design as well as leadership of the Store environment team.
